Rutin, also known as rutoside or Vitamin P, is a flavonoid glycoside extracted from the dried flower buds of Sophora japonica L. (Japanese pagoda tree). With CAS number 153-18-4 and molecular formula C₂₇H₃₀O₁₆, Rutin is widely used in nutraceutical and pharmaceutical formulations as a source of bioflavonoids. Studies suggest Rutin may support healthy vascular function and circulation when used as part of a balanced formulation.
